The sample was a gift from Mr. Richard Drasche von Wartinberg to the Imperial Museum in 1880.

Der abgebildete Diamantkristall wiegt etwa 10 Karat und hat eine Kantenlänge von 1 cm. Die Stufe ist ein Geschenk des Herrn Richard Drasche von Wartinberg an das k.k. Hof - Museum aus dem Jahre 1880.
