Born on 10 July 1756 in Vienna. Imperial Mining Counsellor and Expert in the Imperial Department for Coinage and Mining. From 1778 until 1786, employed by the Natural Science Cabinet and later became the head of the amalgamation plant in Glashütte near Schemnitz. In 1788, he became professor of mathematics and mechanics at the Mining Academy in Schemnitz. He died on 16 March 1797 in Vienna.
